About Us

About David
David LaChapelle is an experienced photographer, specializing in weddings, family portraits, children, and commercial assignments. David earned a B.A. in Secondary Education in Graphic Arts and Photography from the University of Massachusetts, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He continued on to complete the masters program at the New England School of Professional Photography. In print competition, he won Ribbon Awards for Merits. From 1991 to1994, he apprenticed with Derby Studio in Salem, Massachusetts.

Since 1994, he has operated his own studio, making customer service his priority in meeting the photographic needs of the local community.

Wedding Philosophy
David's primary goal in photographing a wedding is to unobtrusively capture the day as it naturally unfolds while also meeting the bridal couple's "wish list" guidelines. David uses available light and double lighting to capture your special moments.
